As we anticipate the approaching seasons of Thanksgiving and Advent, the Membership Care Committee has appreciated the support of the Grace congregation throughout the year for any number of projects, including the recent Undies for Jesus, the Period Pack collection and ongoing culinary creativity for the monthly luncheons. As we enter the final busy months of the year, there are several other opportunities where we can demonstrate our faith - to one another and to the community at large. The members of this congregation were most generous as we have tried to meet the continuing needs of our region and we invite everyone to support one or more of the upcoming events/projects.
This year we are repeating the very popular “Baby Bank Tree” for the Advent season and are inviting our Grace community to buy small baby items (ex: teething rings, onesies, baby blankets) to decorate or place under the Christmas Tree in the Sanctuary. (please do not wrap) All items will be donated to the Twin Tiers Baby Bank, located at the First Baptist Church in Painted Post. The collection will begin on the first Sunday of Advent and run through January 5.
The mitten tree will be up outside of the office throughout all of December to collect children's hats, gloves, and mittens to be donated to the Little Hawks Threads clothing program which provides clothing to elementary schools throughout the C-PP School district.
Office Hours
New office hours. Please note the following change to office hours. Starting today Monday June 24th the office will be open Mondays 8:30- 3PM and Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM and closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
